Join the Field Station for a fun, family afternoon foraging the Little Calumet trails in search of carefully hidden (ceramic) frogs. Each frog will be valued according to size. Find a whopper...$25. Find the teeny-tiny tree frog and you could bring home $500. A minimum of $2,500 in cash rewards will be issued to lucky hunters. One reward per participant.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase and there will be special events for young children, family fun activities, and live music. Enjoy the beautiful trails of Chellberg Farm located in the heart of the Indiana Dunes National Park.

​Rules for the Find

All hunters ages 3 and older must purchase a ticket. Ages 2 and under are free. All hunters must have a frog find wristband on the trails. No tickets will be sold on site. Only 500 tickets will be sold!

Each ticket holder will be given a wrist band in order to search for frogs. Frog pictures and values will be posted at the event. Once a frog is found it can be turned in for a pre-determined monetary prize at which time the finder's wrist band will be removed. One reward per ticket holder.
